HERO Foundation held its Golf Cup 2018: Golf for a Cause last March 16 at Southlinks Golf Club, Southvale Drive, Almanza Dos, Las Piňas City.

The Golf Cup is one of HERO’s means to raise funds that will benefit the foundation’s scholars who are children of soldiers who were killed in action or incapacitated during their duty. The event tickets, which were inclusive of green fee, caddie, lunch, and raffle, had a portion of its price as direct donation of the players to the foundation.  As Brig. Gen. Alvin Javier said, “We didn’t just played golf. We helped the children of our fallen heroes.”

Danica Joy Talania and Arnel Aspe, HERO scholars, expressed their heartfelt thanks to all the sponsors and participants through a short message and an acoustic number during the program after event.

The participants went home not just with smiling faces, trophies and prizes. Moreover, they went home with warm thanksgiving from HERO Foundation for helping out the children of our fallen heroes through an exciting and successful event.

Special thanks to our partners and sponsors for the HERO Golf Cup 2018: Southlinks Golf Club, Ayala Land Premier, Alveo Land Corporation, Amaia Land Corporation, Avida Land Corporation, Cebu Holdings, Centrio Mall, AC Automotive, Cebu Property Ventures and Development Corporation, McDonald’s, UCPB, Healthy Family Purified Water, BDO, and Primer Group of Companies.
