Ayala group boosts support to children of fallen soldiers
Ayala Corporation, Ayala Land, Inc., BPI, Globe Telecom, and ACEN formalize their commitment to support HERO Foundation, Inc., an organization that provides educational support to military orphans.
“I am delighted to announce that Ayala Corporation and Ayala Land are renewing their commitment. Joining as well are BPI, Globe, and ACEN, each pledging P2.5 million per year for the next five years to enable HERO Foundation to continue with its noble mission,” said Fernando Zobel de Ayala, Chairman of Hero Foundation.
The funds will be used to create a trust fund for the benefit of current and future scholars, strengthening the ongoing scholarship program to expand beyond just providing educational support and assisting scholars find employment after their studies.
“It is a huge honor for the Ayala Group of Companies to continue being the HERO Foundation’s partner,” Zobel said. “I am confident that together, we can continue to make a profound impact in the lives many young Filipinos.”
Since 1988, P188 million has been released to support 2,733 scholars. This year, Hero Foundation is supporting 232 scholars. #AyalaForTheGreaterGood
