HERO Foundation, Inc. successfully held the 9th HERO Golf Cup 2026: A Golf Tournament for the Education of the Children of our Fallen Soldiers

HERO Foundation, Inc. successfully held the 9th HERO Golf Cup 2026: A Golf Tournament for the Education of the Children of our Fallen Soldiers last March 06 at the Camp Aguinaldo Golf Course.

The ceremonial tee off was graced by the presence of the Bureau of Corrections Director General, Gen Gregorio Pio P Catapang Jr AFP (Ret), Commanding General of the Philippine Army, LtGen Antonio G Nafarrete PA, Mr. Kenji Kumazawa from Mitsubishi Corporation, Former Filsports Basketball Association Commissioner and Former PBA Player, Mr. Vince Paul Hizon, and the HERO Foundation President Gen Emmanuel T Bautista AFP (Ret). The event was also witnessed by Bases Conversion and Development Authority Vice President for Investment and Promotions, Mr. Ken Peralta, and HERO Foundation Executive Director, MGen Victor Bayani AFP (Ret).

Capt Rudy Reyes emerged as overall champion while Capt Rebecca Reyes won the ladies championship. Prizes were given to the winners of Classes A, B, and C, as well as the “Overall Champion.” The golfers were also very happy to win raffle prizes from our in-kind partners. The net proceeds of the tournament which is 100% of the total amount raised will be utilized to fund the educational needs of orphaned children and dependent siblings of soldiers who were permanently incapacitated or killed due to enemy action or during disaster relief operations.

The 9th HERO Golf Cup was made possible through the support of many generous corporations, organizations, and individuals who share in our cause to care for the orphans our military heroes have left behind.
